Parent Communication - Arbor Parent App information
Arbor is our main school system for communicating important information to parents and guardians.
In addition to this, teachers use Class Dojo where messages might be for a specific child or class, whilst Tapestry is used throughout Rising 3s, Nursery and Reception to communicate and record learning. Please speak to your child's teacher about either of these two platforms for further information.
Arbor’s Parent App makes it easy to share information with you, as well as enabling you to manage your child's school dinners, clubs, trips, payments, and breakfast and after school wraparound care, as well as book onto Parents' Evenings.
When registering your child at our school, you will be sent an email containing details of how to access the Arbor Parent App - you may need to check your junk folder for this. If you do not receive the welcome email, please speak to the school office.
Once you have received the welcome email and set up your password, you can continue to access Arbor through your web browser. This can be done by logging into https://alkrington-primary-school.uk.arbor.sc/ and bookmarking the site for future use.
However, we strongly recommend using their iOS or Android app - please search for 'Arbor Parent App' in your app store to download it, then login using the password you created from the welcome email. Using the app and enabling notifications will ensure you are alerted to any communications as soon as they are sent.
You are also able to update the information school holds about your child, as well as your own personal details. Please ensure that once you have registered on Arbor, you check all the information held on the app and amend anything that is out of date, such as old telephone numbers, addresses or medical information.
If you need any assistance, Arbor itself has a number of useful support pages for parents/guardians which can be accessed here. However, should you not find an answer to what you're looking for, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
